Surveying of roofs and facades of the St. Alexander’s Orthodox Church in Tartu, Estonia.

DataCap OÜ in cooperation with Archaeovision OÜ carried out the surveying of Tartu Alexander Church.

The work was commissioned with the aim of obtaining a detailed 3D point cloud model for a roof repair project with a complex configuration of the church. A Faro S70 laser scanner and a DJI drone were used for the measurement. The point clouds obtained as a result of the processing of the drone photos and the laser scanning were combined.
